７時に起きる。
朝餉は、バナナ、味噌汁（人参、玉葱、小松菜、豆腐、エノキ）、BLTサンドイッチ、豆乳、紅茶。食後にコーヒー。
昼餉は、チーズトースト、シリアル、コーヒー。
10キロをジョグ。汗だく。
女房は期日前投票へ。住民票がこちらにない僕は棄権。
『三月の水』はWaters of Marchの直訳だが（ポルトガル語がわからない哀しみよ）、複数形だから雨でもいいんじゃないかとか、わかったようなわからないようなことを言う人もいるけれど、ここはやっぱり水がふさわしい。
三月の水。
それに続く歌詞の連なりを読めばわかる。雨も含めた水なのだ。英語詞も作ったジョビンの語感をうんぬんするのは馬鹿げた行いだ。それを聴けば、彼の世界の混じり気がとても美味しそうだ。腐臭も死も裏切りや殺しさえ、その一員としての場を与えられ、佇むことを許されている。そんな詞は、南米人のどこかに流れている水脈だと思う。メキシコ人のオクタビオ・パスにもそれはもちろんある。
